Research has shown nostalgia helps counteract boredom, loneliness and anxiety whilst promoting feelings of belonging and meaning. Connecting the past with the present our new chair quietly recalls traditional Shaker furniture, whilst the unique combination of metal and wood allows the chair to stand tall on its own merits.
Honesty of construction and truth to materials
The reductive design features a laser-cut and folded metal seat, curved plywood backrest and solid wooden legs held together by exposed fixings.

Designed and engineered for fast, easy and intuitive assembly with a focus on environmental sustainability. The knock down construction allows parts to be easily replaced reducing its environmental impact.
